Embodied Spirituality Series: 4/19 – 5/24
Six-Week Women’s Circle on Embodied Spirituality
“So glorify God in your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
In this nurturing space, we’ll begin to transform our relationship with God from one that rests primarily in the head to one that permeates our whole being. Using breathing exercises, guided meditation, gentle movement, and experiential practices, we’ll deepen our felt sense of God and explore the Divine Feminine within ourselves.
Each week’s Women’s Circle includes:
- Breathing meditation to relax your mind and create space in your body for the Divine to move through you
- Interactive questions to help participants connect with each other, themselves, and their understanding of God
- Gentle movement using the body as prayer
- Experiential practices exploring topics such as courage, self worth, peace, intuition, love and compassion
You will have the opportunity to:
- Connect deeply to your God and to who you are as a Divine Feminine being
- Integrate your analytical understanding of God with a more feeling, intuitive sense of this Higher Power
- Practice accessing this perspective when relating to others and navigating your life’s journey
- Enjoy sincere connection with and validation from the trusted company of other women
